Graduate students conducting research in \caps are all associated with one of the member departments. As such, they pursue the core requirements of a research degree in that department. However, each department also provides sufficient flexibility that all of our students also follow a coherent core of common courses in atmospheric sciences, atmospheric chemistry, particle physics, climate, and particulate matter sources and sinks. These courses also comprise the core in a coursework masters degree in air quality engineering available to students in all of our member departments in the Carnegie Institute of Technology. |
