Our research program is driven by graduate student reserach. In the past 5 years, we have added 3 faculty members; the group is young, and there are ample opportunities for graduate work. There are currently roughly 20 graduate students in the group. Because the faculty are associated with 5 academic departments (all have joint appointments), we can support a truly diverse collection of graduate students, providing in-depth training in one of many disciplines in the context of a vibrant, multidisciplinary environment. Prospective students are encouraged to contact one or more faculty members in order to determine which department is most likely to best meet their needs, and then seek admission into that department as a doctoral candidate.
