Atmospheric ScienceMuch of the research in CAPS is directly tied to atmospheric science. The director, Neil Donahue, is formally trained as a meteorologist (Ph.D. MIT Meteorology, 1991); an essential component of regional and global atmospheric modeling is a proper understanding of atmospheric transport.
